Mandarin Sunset Strain Review

I recently picked up some flower from Trulieve in the strain Mandarin Sunset.

Mandarin Sunset is bred by Ethos Genetics, and it’s a cross between Herijuana and Orange Skunk. It’s an indica with a ”rich, skunky, orange flavor profile.”

I picked up 3.5 grams, or one eighth of an ounce, of the flower for $53. The THC percentage came in at 17.648%, with the entire 3.5 grams containing 645.54 milligrams of THC.

Looking at the lab test results, we can find out some information about the terpenes within this batch of flower. The flower is 1.018% terpenes. Beta Myrcene is the most dominant terpene in this flower, coming in at 0.348%. The following terpenes are also contained within this flower: Caryophyllene, Limonene, Farnesene, Bisabolol, Humulene, Linalool.

The structure of this flower was pretty impressive – it was one huge nug and four smaller ones.

The big nug.

But more important than the size of the nugs is the quality of the flower. It seemed to be cured properly, with the flower not being too dry.

When I smoke this flower, I get a sense of euphoria and uplifted mood. My anxiety melts away, leaving me wanting to socialize and be productive. The smell of this flower is both orange-y and skunky just like the description says.

I’ve been using this flower to unwind at the end of the day and it’s been working out well. I would recommend this strain if you’re dealing with anxiety or trouble sleeping, as it’s helped me with both of those issues.

Have you tried Mandarin Sunset?
