3 Surprising Things I Learned From Trying the World’s First Laser Bong

Using the Hitoki Trident.

When I found out I was going to get to review the Hitoki Trident, I was super excited. I heard about the laser bong through other cannabis influencers, and I couldn’t wait to try it myself. Once mine arrived, I wasted no time getting it set up and making a YouTube video. During the time I spent filming and trying the device, I learned a few things about it that I didn’t expect.

• The chamber that holds your herb doesn’t get hot

• You get several hits out of one bowl of flower

• It’s surprisingly easy to use

The chamber that holds your herb doesn’t get hot

This was a wild realization. Immediately after smoking a bowl with the Hitoki, I opened up the device to reveal the herb pod within. I carefully tried touching it with my knuckles, and once I realized it was cold, I was surprised. I reached in, pulled out the pod, cleaned it out with the provided poker tool, and packed it again. This means no time is wasted while waiting for things to cool down between hits. A game-changer, to be sure.

It’s economical – you get a lot of hits with just a little herb

Need I say more? Aren’t we all just trying to get the most out of our cannabis without wasting any? There is a high amount of smoke production for how little flower is required with this device. I was pleasantly surprised at the billowing clouds of smoke that came from this device the first time I used it.

It’s surprisingly easy to use

The Hitoki Trident is two main parts, the top and the bottom. I guess it’s three parts if you think about it. But it’s a pretty simple device in its setup. You have the water chamber and the herb pod, much like any other bong. There may be a learning curve if you’re not familiar with tech-forward cannabis devices, but I think it should be a pretty simple-to-use device for most people.

I see myself using the Hitoki Trident often in the near future. If you want to browse Hitoki’s products online, follow my affiliate link (I get a percentage of profits from sales made through the link, at no extra cost to you) here.
